Project Overview
This 1000 sq m facility involved both design and construction of a new hall for the Babinda RSL. The purpose of the building is to be a Community hall as well as a facility where the Community could seek shelter should another severe cyclone threaten.
Malanda & Yungaburra Firestations

Project Overview
This project involved the construction of two new Fire stations for the towns of Malanda and Yungaburra. The buildings were steel framed structures incorporating wash down facilities for the Emergency Services Vehicles.
Commercial Offices, Weipa

Project Overview
The 700sqm project was constructed to accommodate the new Centrelink offices in Weipa. The building is a tilt up construction and MBC was also contracted to complete the office fit out.

Project Overview
This project involves the construction of 13 homes for the Hopevale Shire Council. The residences are single storey steel frame dwellings and will be tenanted by the families of the community.
Lizard Island Research Station

Project Overview
The Australian Museum Trust of NSW awarded MBC the contract to construct the new Lizard Island Research Station Facility in April 2006.
The 416m² facility included a new wastewater treatment plant, laboratory, reception, library and IT room. This new facility was integrated with the existing Griffin complex. Due to the geographical location of the island, materials could only be transported by barge which serviced the island every 10 days.
The project was completed in August 2006. MBC is scheduled to commence work in August 2007 on the next stage of the upgrade — refurbishment of the Thyme Reid Wing.
A facility of the Australian Museum located on Lizard Island, required the recent upgrade of facilities whilst meeting with stringent regulations for Queensland Parks and Wildlife
Loomis house renovations entailed converting 1 bedroom accommodation into a modern 12 bunk bed accommodation, with ensuite. Environmentally friendly composting toilet systems were used, to ensure compliance with EPA and National Parks and Wildlife.
In 2009 commencement for the upgrade of the Aquaria began, to help facilitate research of tropical marine species.

Seaview Motel, Cooktown

Project Overview
The Seaview Motel Cooktown comprises twelve two bedroom apartments and restaurant facilities. The project was designed by Cairns based PAC Architects and is a two storey construction. Initially the facility was a 13 unit motel. It is built in the main business district of Cooktown and is affiliated with the Seaview Hotel.
The overall project included all infrastructure works and additional upgrades to existing facilities. Apartments include fully tiled floors and timber silky oak panelling with fine glaze finishes.
